Good nights sleep, looked like it would be a cloudy day but the sun came out about 10am.
Not much on the island but a lot of short steep hills. By noon the wind became stronger and from the south - that's the way we were going.
It was a tough ride to the ferry but then a relaxing ferry ride to Tobermory where we found a campsite for the night.
Yvon and I last evening at the camp site
A little cloudy but a good day for cycling.
Reached Manitoulin Island
A snake warming himself on the side of theroad
Lots of great scenery
We met three students from Boston who were taking to summer to bike to the west coast of the US with a side trip through Canada
While waiting for the ferry, Yvon worked on his bike.
He was having trouble with broken spokes and his rear rim was starting to crack in several places
All bicycles and motorcycles had to be tied down on the ferry. Guess they were expecting a rough trip.
It was a nice 2 hour cruise
Yvon waiting for them to open the doors
We found a campground for the night. At $35.00 it was the most expensive so far.
